Morgan Koch had nine kills and Mallory Bergbower added eight Monday night as Central Catholic High School's volleyball team posted a first-round win over Kankakee in the Class 3A Central Catholic Regional at Bloomington.

Kate Mooreman-Wolfe had 26 assists for the seventh-seeded Saints (21-14) in the 25-8, 25-12 victory. Sydney Adams had a team-high 10 digs and 10 service points in helping Central advance to face top-seeded University High in Tuesday's 5:30 p.m. semifinal. Aariasha Dabney had four kills for Kankakee (19-15).

In the second match, sixth-seeded Prairie Central advanced to the semifinals with an 18-25, 25-22, 25-16 win over No. 9 seed Pontiac. The Hawks will face No. 4 seed Manteno at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Pontiac's season ended at 12-21 after the Indians received seven kills and four blocks from Cam Feddern. Cassidy Ringle had nine digs.

Olympia advances: Kalli Terrell had 11 kills and 13 digs while Bella Dickhut added 10 kills and 10 digs in the Spartans' 25-15, 25-23 win over Canton in the Class 3A Macomb Regional. Seventh-seeded Olympia advanced to face No.2 seed Quincy Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Class 2A

LeRoy tops Heyworth: Molly White's six kills and 13 digs led the Panthers to a 25-15, 25-17 first-round victory over the Hornets in the Class 2A Fieldcrest Regional at Minonk. Megan Claunch had eight assists for 10th-seeded LeRoy, which advanced to play No. 2 Herscher in a 5:30 p.m. Tuesday semifinal.

Morgan Spencer had five kills and Kelly Swope 10 assists for Heyworth.

Class 1A

Fisher ousts Donovan: The Bunnies advanced to the semifinals of the Class 1A Cissna Park Regional with a 25-9, 25-21 victory. Shelbee Owens had eight kills and a block for Fisher, which also received 12 assists and nine service points from Cameron McGrew.

Fisher will face top-seeded Cissna Park at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
