The top-seeded Eureka High School volleyball team, led by Hailey Flowers' 15 kills and 14 digs, edged No. 4 seed El Paso-Gridley, 29-27, 25-22, in the semifinals of the 42nd Annual McLean County/Heart of Illinois Conference Tournament at Mackinaw on Thursday.

Amy Pineda had 18 assists and Katie Morin eight service points for the Hornets (29-3), who will face Tri-Valley in Saturday's 7 p.m. championship match.

EPG's Ashlyn Mool had 14 kills, 13 digs and two blocks while Ashlyn Stone chipped in 23 assists. Sierra Carr also had two blocks for the Titans (22-8).

Tri-Valley bests Dee-Mack: No. 2 seed Tri-Valley (21-6) tipped No. 3 seed Deer Creek-Mackinaw in an HOIC Tournament semifinal, 26-24, 17-25, 15-9.

Halle Sheley led the Vikings with 11 kills while Riley Owens added 14 assists, Regan Danko 15 digs and Macy Stickling 3½ blocks.

Defending champion Dee-Mack (23-9) will play EPG for third at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The Chiefs received nine kills from Addy Gruse and 13 assists from Shelby DeBolt.

EPG downs Flanagan: No. 4 seed El Paso-Gridley received nine kills from Madi Funk and 18 assists from Stone in a 25-21, 25-18 HOIC Tournament quarterfinal win over No. 5 seed Flanagan-Cornell.

Carr added three blocks for the Titans. Flanagan-Cornell received 14 assists and nine digs from Madelyn Forney, 11 service points and nine digs from Molly Garretson and five kills from Rachel Harrison.

Lexington drops Heyworth: In an HOIC Tournament consolation semifinal, Lexington turned back Heyworth, 25-16, 25-14. Tia Hardt led the Minutemen with seven kills, five digs and eight service points while Gracy Michal chipped in 12 assists and four digs.

Lexington will play for the consolation title at 4 p.m. on Saturday against LeRoy. Heyworth's Kelly Swope had four kills.

LeRoy stops Ridgeview: In an HOIC Tournament consolation semifinal, No. 12 seed LeRoy topped No. 8 seed Ridgeview. The score was unavailable. Molly White led the Panthers with 10 kills while Lexi Kilmartin had 11 assists.

LeRoy tops Fisher: In an HOIC Tournament consolation quarterfinal, No. 12 seed LeRoy downed No. 13 seed Fisher, 25-23, 25-20, with help from Molly White's eight kills and Megan Claunch's 15 assists.

Fisher (4-22) was led by Shelbee Owens' six digs and four kills.

Fieldcrest downs GCMS: In HOIC Tournament consolation play, No. 6 seed Fieldcrest (24-8) stopped No. 10 seed GCMS, 25-21, 25-22, as Emma Petersen had five kills and six digs while Lexi Jochums had nine assists.

Fieldcrest will play for fifth place at 5 p.m. Saturday against Flanagan-Cornell. Jessica Freehill had eight kills and three blocks for GCMS (10-16) while Maddy Schutte had 18 assists and Madi Eberle 14 digs.

Flanagan defeats Tremont: McKenna Roth's five kills and three blocks along with Forney's 19 assists sparked Flanagan-Cornell (20-11-1) to a 25-14, 26-24 HOIC Tournament consolation match victory over No. 9 seed Tremont.

Regan Read added 15 digs for the Falcons. Tremont (7-21) was led by Becca Olson's 13 digs and Emily Wendling's four kills.

REGULAR SEASON

Raiders grab Senior Night win: Bloomington claimed a 25-16, 25-15 win over Lincoln on Senior Night at the Robert Frank Sports Complex. Grace Sanders and Lexi Packard each had seven digs for the Purple Raiders, who improved to 29-4.

Leah Anderson led BHS with nine kills while Bett O'Neal added 25 assists along with nine service points.

Unity upends Saints: Mallory Bergbower had 13 kills and 15 digs for Central Catholic in a 25-21, 21-25, 25-19 Illini Prairie Conference loss to Unity at Tolono.

Morgan Koch and Abby Cox each added 11 kills for Central (20-14, 5-4) while Lauren O'Donnell contributed 14 digs. Kate Moorman-Wolfe had 39 assists.

Olympia tops IVC: Rose McManaman had 13 kills and 12 digs while Kallie Terrell contributed 11 kills and 17 digs to lead Olympia to a 25-21, 25-16 Illini Prairie Conference win over IVC at Stanford. Kaelyn Leverson had 30 assists for the victorious Spartans.

Mount Pulaski prevails: Skylar Hayes had 17 kills and 15 digs for Mount Pulaski in a 25-17, 2-25, 25-16 victory over Jacksonville. Abigail Fitzpatrick added 14 kills and 16 digs for the Hilltoppers while Chloe Olson had 18 assists and Isabella Wade 14.

Roanoke-Benson wins: Paige Sauder had 10 kills for Roanoke-Benson in a 25-17, 25-22 win at Seneca. Brynn Rossman added 14 digs and four aces for the Rockets while Maddy Monge had 11 assists.

Dwight falls: Dwight dropped a 25-14, 25-7 Sangamon Valley Conference match to PBL at Paxton. Lexi Johnson had four kills, three aces, a block and four digs for PBL.

Pontiac loses: Madison Wright's nine kills and five digs were not enough as host Pontiac (12-20, 0-9) lost to Rantoul.

Prairie Central defeated: Addison Casner had 12 digs and Merryn Krenz 18 assists, but Prairie Central fell to St. Thomas More, 25-19, 25-18, at Fairbury. Elly Haberkorn had six kills for Prairie Central (21-12, 4-5). St. Thomas More improved to 31-4 and 8-1 in Illini Prairie Conference play.

Blue Ridge falls: Avery Fisher dished out 27 assists, but Blue Ridge lost to Cerro Gordo, 18-25, 25-22, 25-20, at Farmer City. Hannah Brackenhoff had 19 digs for the Knights.

Clinton triumphs: Delaney Woodbury had 19 assists for Clinton in a 25-16, 25-17 victory over Macon Meridian. Tori Burke added seven kills for the Maroons while Raymi Dial had six digs.
