LINCOLN - Shawn Bridgewater led four Lincoln College players in double figures with 19 points as the Lynx raced to an 85-56 victory Wednesday over Illinois Central College.
Jake Littrel added 13 points while Brandon Alexander and P.J. Keaton each scored 11 for Lincoln College. Ten Lynx players scored.
The Lynx shot 47 percent from the field while gaining a 46-20 halftime lead. Lincoln College shot 46 percent for the game and made 23 of 34 free throws. Littrel and Bridgewater each snagged seven rebounds as the Lynx enjoyed a 40-36 advantage on the boards.
Shang Ping paced ICC with a game-high 23 points and six rebounds.
Red Devil women win
Brittany Gardner scored 13 points to lead the Eureka College women's basketball team to a 64-49 win over St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the Reagan Center.
The Red Devils took a 41-27 halftime lead and didn't let up in the second half, outscoring St. Louis 22-2 in points off turnovers. St. Louis committed 26 turnovers to Eureka College's 16. Shelby Naab scored 11 points and Mandi Sistek added nine points and pulled down 12 rebounds for the Red Devils (13-7).
Katie Palmer scored 13 points to lead St. Louis (4-14).
