NORMAL — Calvary Baptist Academy”s Sarah McCorkle posted a game-high 18 points as the Crusaders ran past Heyworth 57-46 in a nonconference girls basketball game Friday night.

Becky Olson added 10 points and 11 rebounds for Calvary (5-4), while freshman guard Amanda Turbett chipped in 10 points and Lizzi Howerton added nine.

"The girls played awesome tonight, especially Olson with her double-double," Calvary coach Tammi Bonner said.

After leading by six points at halftime, the Crusaders outscored the Hornets 15-7 in the third quarter to take control of the game.

Sophomore Laura Klawitter paced Heyworth with 13 points. Julie Outlaw pitched in nine points.
