CPCI junior Heidi McKean scored a game-high 16 points to lead CPCI (7-2, 2-0) to a 52-35 victory over Iroquois West (0-8, 0-2) in a Sangamon Valley East Division Conference game at Gilman on Friday night.

Page Poppie had 14 points and Hannah Dodd added 11 points for the Timberwolves.

CPCI got out to a 27-13 lead at halftime and Iroquois West could not make up the deficit in the second half.

"I thought we played a pretty good game tonight. If we could have kept them off the offensive boards and limited the put-backs, it would have been a much closer game. CPCI just moved the ball well enough to break our defense down eventually," said Raider head coach Hanns Meyer.

Lauren Vaughn led the Raiders with 13 points.

Fisher 47, PBL 39

Senior Jessi Beachey scored a game-high 17 points to lead Fisher (5-3) to a win over PBL (1-7) in a Sangamon Valley Conference non-divisional game at Paxton.

Kalyn Keith scored 11 points for the Bunnies, nine of which came in the fourth quarter.

The Bunnies led 22-21 at halftime.

Joanna Skonberg scored 12 points and Melissa Runge added 10 for PBL.

Kankakee Trinity 61, Roberts Christ Lutheran 37

Cory Kurowski led Christ Lutheran with 17 points in a loss to Kankakee Trinity.

Nikki Kaufman had nine rebounds for Christ Lutheran.
