Iroquois West (4-10, 1-3) had trouble holding onto the ball in its loss at Milford in a Sangamon Valley East Conference match.

The Raiders outrebounded their opponent 38-14, but that statistic was overshadowed by the team's 32 turnovers.

"We just turned the ball over too much and our rebounding stats look good only because we kept rebounding our missed putbacks," Iroquois West coach Hanns Meyer said. "We have to take better care of the ball and make the easy shot."

Whitney Gray had a team-high eight points for the Raiders and Victoria Krones hauled in 11 rebounds to go with her five points.

The Cats (10-2, 4-0) were led by Kristin Estay's 14 points.
