FAIRBURY — Brian Albus clipped Lake Nichoalds in a photo finish to claim the checkered flag and $500 top prize in the Eden-Piercy Memorial for the sportsman division on Saturday at American Legion Speedway.

Rounding out the top five in the race that was rescheduled from May 28 were Bryant Frechette, Richie Rich and Eric Legner. Heat winners were Albus and Frechette.

Other regular-night feature winners were Mike Spatola (late model), Jeffrey Ledford (modified), Nichoalds (sportsman), Andrew Funk (street stock) and Mike Petersen (hobby mod).

Elsewhere, Bloomington's Jason Feger captured a pair of late model featured events over the weekend. Feger won the Jr. Kimler Memorial on Friday night at Farmer City Raceway before winning Saturday night's main event at Macon Speedway.
