FARMER CITY — The Illini 100 will have a new title sponsor and a new format this year at Farmer City Raceway.
Officials with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and Farmer City Raceway on Monday announced an agreement with Douglas Dodge Ram Trucks in Clinton to serve as title sponsor, while the new format will split the event into two complete WoO LMS programs March 27-28.
The Douglas Dodge Ram Trucks Illini 100 Weekend will feature a 25-lap WoO LMS A-Main on March 27 paying $6,000 to the winner and a 75-lap A-Main on Saturday offering a $15,000 winner's check. Both nights will include time trials, heat races and last-chance qualifiers.
The March 27 program will feature compete programs for UMP modifieds, UMP Pro late models and UMP street stocks. Modifieds and Pro late models return on March 28 with each division having $1,000-to-win A-Mains.
General admission tickets are $25 for March 27 and $35 for March 28. Two-day tickets with a reserved seat are available in advance at $50. Two-day ticket prices at the gate will be $55 without reserved seating.
