BLOOMINGTON — Bloomington Thunder forward Nic Polaski has been called up to the Denver Cutthroats of the Central Hockey League.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Polaski has one assist and 11 penalty minutes in the eight Thunder games this season. He is a league-leading fourth Thunder player to be called up to a higher level in the young Southern Professional Hockey League season.

Polaski joins goalies Max Strang and Garrett Bartus and defenseman William Lacasse as Thunder players who have moved up to the AA level this season. Lacasse remains on his call-up with the Fort Wayne Komets of the CHL.
