Jake Sale (1-0) was a one-pitch winner and Jason Priest drove in the deciding run as the Lexington Snipes (9-6) notched a 2-1 victory over the Southland Vikings after 10 innings of Midwest Collegiate League baseball action on Saturday.

With none out in the 10th, the Snipes saw a runner reach on an error and get bunted to second before Priest drove him home.

Sale's only pitch in relief was turned into a double play by his second baseman. Starter Brett Fanning went 7 2/3 innings and allowed six hits and one earned run while striking out four and walking none.

Jared McCunn had two hits including a double for the Snipes.
