5 years ago (2014): Top-seeded Central Catholic received double-digit scoring from Molly McGraw (19 points), Caroline Holt (17), Kate Hoerdemann (14), Leah Mason (12) and Lexi Davis (11) as the Saints downed No. 4-seed Tri-Valley, 82-59, at the Warrensburg-Latham Regional.

15 years ago (2004): William Brady responded with 19 of his 31 points after halftime while freshman Josh Brent nearly posted a triple double as Central Catholic downed Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, 56-48. Brent contributed 11 points, 11 rebounds and nine blocked shots.

25 years ago (1994): Corey Anders, who has yet to see an alley-oop pass he wouldn’t like to reverse jam, came back from a two-game absence because of pleurisy to score 28 points as Bloomington posted a 75-65 win over Decatur Eisenhower.

50 years ago (1969): Undefeated San Jose High School, led by the deadly shooting of Ron Eeten and Steve Moehring, relentlessly word down Stanford-Minier, 60-48, to win the undisputed basketball championship of the Mackinaw Valley Conference. Eeten finished with 31 points.
