Soccer league seeks referees
The Prairie Cities Soccer League is looking for qualified referees. There is no age requirement and those interested will be trained and given uniforms for free. League referee fees are $10 to $25 per match.

ISU softball clinic registration
Positions are still available for the Redbird Developmental Softball Clinic on Jan. 15. Illinois State coach Melinda Fischer and her staff will provide instruction on pitching, hitting, bunting and specific positions. The clinic is open to players in second through eighth grade.
Players will be grouped according to age and skill level. Players must provide their own equipment. Check-in will be at 9 a.m. and the clinic will conclude at 4 p.m. The cost is $60.

BNBA seeking coaches

Tri-Shark Classic a qualifier
The June 3 Tri-Shark Triathlon Classic at Moraine View State Park will serve as a Best of the U.S. Illinois State qualifier. The fastest male and female resident amateur will earn the right to represent Illinois at the Best of the U.S. Championship Sept. 16 at Excelsior, Minn.
The Tri-Shark Triathlon consists of a 600-yard swim, a 13-mile bicycle leg and a five-kilometer run.
Tourney set at Game Time II
Game Time Gym II in Bloomington is offering a Holiday Dodge Ball Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m. Divisions will be offered for third-graders through seniors in high school. The cost is $50 per team. For more information, call 662-9520.
