The Bloomington PrairieThunder will make the first pick in the International Hockey League's player dispersal draft, which starts at noon Wednesday.

The Thunder and the five other members of the IHL, formerly the United Hockey League, will pick from players who played for franchises that have either disbanded or switched to another league. IHL teams will hold the rights to any player selected in the dispersal draft.

The draft order is determined by the 2006-07 regular-season standings, with the lowest winning percentage selecting first. Bloomington will be followed by Port Huron, Flint, Kalamazoo, Muskegon and Fort Wayne.
