Led by individual titles from Cameron Plourde and Caleb Diffor, Bloomington Trinity Lutheran's boys won the team championship in the Lutheran State Track and Field Meet this past weekend at River Forest.
Plourde won the 1,600-meter run in 4 minutes, 59.0 seconds. Diffor captured the triple jump with a distance of 39-61/2 and placed third in the 400-meter dash and the long jump.
Trinity Lutheran also won the 1,600- and 3,200-meter relays. It finished with 74 points while Naperville Bethany was second with 62.
On the girls side, Trinity Lutheran's Alexis Rowe won the high jump by clearing 5 feet. She led her team to a tie for seventh place with 29 points.
The next highest area finisher was Julianne Funk of Mount Pulaski Zion, who was second in the triple jump (31-11).
