U High's Cook named to IHSA baseball coaches all-state team

NORMAL - Outfielder Tyler Cook of University High School has been named to the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association Class AA All-State team.

Cook, who has signed with Division I South Carolina Upstate, was joined on the squad by Illinois State recruits Andrew Biela, an outfielder from Palatine, and Kevin Tokarski, an infielder from Downers Grove North.

Cook batted .491 for U High this spring with 11 doubles, four triples and 36 runs batted in.
