PEORIA - The Chicago Wolves broke a 1-1 tie with a pair of second-quarter goals and went on to a 3-2 American Hockey League win over the Peoria Rivermen Friday night at Carver Arena.

Gavin Morgan gave Peoria a 1-0 lead in the opening period before the Wolves tied it. After Chicago went up 3-1, Tomas Mojzis scored in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 3-2 but that was as close as the Rivermen could get.
