MINONK – Meyer-Jochums Agency, Inc. in Minonk has added a unique piece of memorabilia to its new building after a devastating fire claimed their old building in October 2011.

In commemoration of their old building, Meyer-Jochums Agency laid a small brick wall in its newly remodeled building. Original bricks recovered from the rubble of the old building were used to create the wall in the new location at 119 W. 5th Street, right across the street from where the old building used to stand.

“We moved right into the new building across the street. I think we even had the keys before the fire was put out,” Craig Meyer said.
