ROANOKE - While two individuals were appointed to the zoning board, four others are off.
At Monday evening's village board meeting, Neal Beer was appointed as the chair of the zoning board to fill out the remainder of former chair Barb Daraban's four years. She resigned last month. Norm Weldon was tabbed to a three-year term. Meanwhile, Steve Aeschleman, Garry Colclasure, Janel Ford and Nate Gerdes have apparently left.
The village board did not elaborate on the reason(s) for the departures of the other four. President Mike Smith indicated he had received confirmation on the exits and added one of the four had a term expiring and chose not to seek re-appointment.
Last month, Tony Crumrine was appointed to the post of zoning board officer.
