EUREKA – Harry E. Page 88, died 11:33 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
He was born Jan. 2, 1929, in Pontiac, the son of Charles Harrison and Blanch H. Wood Page. He married Iris J. Stringer in June of 1991 in Pontiac. She died Dec. 3, 2005.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Shaneka Lucier) Page, Peoria and Michael (Marla) Page, Bloomington; one daughter Diane (Glen) Bailey, Chatsworth; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Harry served in the Army for over 20 years, as he obtained the rank of Master Sergeant. He worked at the Pontiac Correctional Facility, Pontiac, and chief of the Fairbury Police Department, Fairbury. He was a member of Eureka American Legion Post No. 466, Eureka.
Services will take place Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Spring Bay Cemetery, Spring Bay.
