Former Eureka College quarterback Sam Durley will be playing in the Indoor Football League (IFL) this season, but not with the Wyoming Calvary. Rather, the Eureka/Roanoke-Benson product will be with Cedar Rapids (Iowa).
The Wyoming franchise folded last fall before the 6-foot-5 Durley reached an agreement with the Titans of the 10-team IFL. Wyoming, Chicago and Texas shut down following the 2014 season in favor of teams in Billings, Mont., Wichita Falls, Texas, and the Iowa Barnstormers, who are moving from the Arena League. The Titans will play the Nebraska Danger in an exhibition game on Feb. 13 before the season kicks off 15 days later.
